Piecha Design is celebrating its 30th year anniversary this year, but that doesn't mean the tuning company will sit around doing nothing. On the contrary, Piecha Design has just revealed their latest tuning program for the Mercedes Benz E-Class, commemorating their anniversary. The tuning package aims to improve the E-Class from both an aesthetic and a performance standpoint, and boasts more downforce and better aerodynamics.
The tuning package mainly focuses on design and aerodynamics, and offers a body kit that includes an RS front-spoiler flap, a 3-part RS rear spoiler flap and an RS rear diffuser with long-drawn underbody fins that can be made out of real carbon as an option, matching the new Piecha Quadro Sports exhaust system built from high-grade steel. Furthermore, thePiecha Design package includes LED door still illumination with four LEDs on each side.
In addition, the Piecha tuning kit allows you to choose between two sets of 19 inch wheels, the Piecha MP1 or the Piecha DP2 Phantom. The MP1 mono-block set contains two 8.5x19 inches rims on the front fitted with 225/35 or 235/35/19 tires, whilst at the rear you'll get a couple of 9.5x19 inches rims with 255/30 or 275/30/19 tires.
The DP2 Phantom full drop center wheels come in the same dimensions as the MP1 set, but offers a choice between two colors including sating black or high gloss silver.
Performance changes brought by the Piecha Design kit consist in an upgraded suspension system that allows the driver to lower the ride by 30 mm, and for non-AMG E-Classvariants the tuning package also comes with a Power Convertor CS-RC which improves shift times, throttle response and acceleration.
Last but certainly not least, the E-Class Convertible can be fitted with a new comfort vario roof module which comes with "One-Touch" operation, enabling the driver to open and close the roof at speeds of 29 mph (40 km/h).
The Piecha Design tuning kit can be ordered as a whole package or individually, unfortunately the tuner has not revealed any information regarding the prices yet.
