Mansory has unveiled their refinement program for the Mercedes G500 Cabriolet, call the Mansory Speranza at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The self-confident design of the exterior alone makes the Mansory Cabriolet look like a real eye-catcher in the uniform streets.
The Speranza has perfectly finished wings made from ultra-light carbon fibre which characterize the masculine look of the aerodynamics, new bumpers, revised side skirts, extended wheel arches, LED daytime running lights, a carbon fibre bonnet, a rear spoiler and a carbon fiber tire carrier.
There is not much change in the interior. Mansory's upholsterer only allows pristine leather to cover the interior. The perfect finished hides are distinguished both by their durability as well as by their particularly pleasing look. The exquisite overall impression of the sports steering wheel with airbag and aluminium pedals has been refined.
As sporty as the conversions of Mansory look, they also offer a lot under the bonnet. To get increased output for the 5.5-liter V8 engine, the engine pistons, connecting rods, rod bearings, crankshaft, crank, the cylinder head, a newly designed exhaust system with double stainless-steel tailpipes and many other parts now meet the high demands of Kourosh Mansory.
As a result of these modifications the engine now achieves an impressive 700 hp (515 kW) instead of 385 hp (285 kW), while the maximum electronically-limited torque increases to 900 Nm.
