Hummer H3 V8 Kompressor gets 423 horsepower and reaches 60 mph in a about 7 seconds. The extra power also allows the Hummer to max out at 148 mph. Extra stopping power comes thanks to new six-piston disc brakes, which combine with a suspension package and 22-inch alloy wheels to improve handling.
Geiger Cars' most recent ventures have been with the behemoth Ford F-650 and the Hummer H2, and now the German tuner has moved to a slightly smaller vehicle with its modified Hummer H3.
The Hummer comes stock at 4,700 pounds. Buyers have the choice of a 230-horsepower 3.7-liter engine or a more powerful 5.3-liter V8 rated at 300 hp. Geiger drops a blower in the 5.3-liter V8 to bring output to 423 hp and 502 pound-feet of torque.
This helps the SUV beast gallop to 60 mph in 7 seconds, which is quite an improvement considering the 3.5-liter H3 tested at a much slower 11 seconds. The extra power also allows the Hummer to max out at 148 mph.
Extra stopping power comes thanks to new six-piston disc brakes, which combine with a suspension package and 22-inch alloy wheels to improve handling, while giving the truck
a meaner stance.
Geiger Cars rounds off the look by removing the rear spare tire and equipping the H3 with a full body kit, while a dressing of carbon fiber spices up the interior of the vehicle.
