Qoros 3 Hatch 2015 Review

Qoros, a year old international car brand, unveiled its second production model, the 2015 Qoros 3 Hatch at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The design and engineering of the compact Qoros 3 Hatch draws heavily on the brand's first model, the Qoros 3 Sedan. While it is similarly inspired by contemporary European automotive styling themes, it displays a subtle, youthful evolution of the distinctive signature Qoros design cues to inject greater sportiness to the car’s appearance.

The company has kept the same engine as the sedan - the 1.6L naturally-aspirated and turbocharged engine - for the hatchback. The engine is then mated to a six-speed manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Volker Steinwascher, the Vice Chairman of Qoros, expects the new Qoros 3 Hatch to appeal young families and individuals with outdoor lifestyles. The Qoros 3 Hatch comes standard with 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is operated by swipe gestures. The hatchback has a long wheelbase of 4438mm which results in a generous interior space for a compact segment.

The Qoros 3 Hatch will be manufactured in the brand’s all-new assembly plant in Changshu, China, on the same production line as the Qoros 3 Sedan.
