Audi revealed the Crosslane Coupe Concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The Audi Crosslane Coupe showcases a complete new body style. The Crosslane Coupe is, at once a coupe, a convertible and a crossover. The main structure is aluminum, while the front and rear crash structures, as well as supporting structures inside the occupant cell, are made from carbon. Fiberglass, with carbon reinforcements, completes the structure.
Power comes from a 1.5 liter 3-cylinder TFSO engine mated to two electric motors that help fuel-economy come in around 213.81 mpg (hypothetically). Weighing in at 3,064 pounds including the lithium-ion battery, the Audi Crosslane Coupe Concept is capable of going from 0 to 62 mph in 8.6 seconds with a top speed of 113 mph.
