Arrinera Supercar 2013 Review

Gearheads around the world will be pleased to learn that a new supercar will join the party in the near future, boasting everything a supercar can offer including high performance, a theatrical design and a bit of heritage. Dubbed Arrinera Supercar, the British-Polish creation will be backed up by Lee Noble, which will be the man behind the supercar's technical aspects and some design elements.

First let's take a look at some technical data. Under its bonnet the Arrinera will sport a 6.2 liter V8 engine developing 650 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be coupled with a Graziano gearbox resulting in a top speed of 211 mph. Furthermore, theArrinera will go from 0 to 62 in just 3.2 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph in 8.9 seconds, and due to the 350 mm brake discs with 6 piston calipers in the front and 330 mm brake disks with 4 piston calipers in the back, the Supercar will go from 0 to 124 and then back to a full stop in 14.3 seconds.

The chassis is also designed by Lee Noble and will be built out of high-strength steel, but will be very light at the same time. In addition, the body, the interior and the floor can be built out of carbon fiber or Kevlar composite materials as an option. The Arrinera weights 1300 Kg and can achieve 1.3 G in curves, so that pretty much Bugatti Veyron territory.

The man responsible for Arrinera's exterior design is Pavlo Burkatskyy, and it doesn't take too long for the Supercar to make a clear statement of its sporty heritage. The British-Polish supercar features sharp aerodynamic lines, a set of 19 inch light alloy wheels and overall design elements that resemble a jet-fighter. It features scissor doors which seem a bit excessive, but the most interesting thing about the exterior design is that we find to be inspired by the Lamborghini Reventon. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though; if you want to find inspiration for a supercar somewhere, your best bet would be to look in Lamborghini's backyard.

On the interior the Arrinera doesn't seem to let down. Judging by what we've seen so far the interior of the Supercar looks quite promising and seems like a nice place to be in. It features high quality leather, navigation system, air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors and a stereo, so it's quite civilized.

As far as pricing goes, the Arrinera Supercar 2013 is set to hit the market at the price of roughly 100,000 GPB ($162,000), making it more than twice cheaper than the Lamborghini Aventador, and about $80,000 cheaper than a 2011 Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.
