Ascari KZ1R Limited Edition was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in 2008. With 520BHP, 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds and max speed of 200mph, Ascari KZ1R is one of the most exciting Ascari production till date.
Unveiled at the 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Ascari KZ1R is the latest and most exciting Ascari production car to date. Essentially a road-going version of the A10 prototype, the car's 520BHP takes it from 0-60mph in an unofficial 3.0secs and up to an unlimited maximum speed of 200mph. Its 5.0 litre naturally aspirated engine drives the back wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox, with enhanced performance and handling derived from the car's featherweight carbon-fiber monocoque and improved aerodynamics.
Despite the inclusion of a luxurious leather interior, soundproofing, remote central locking, electric window and climate control, the car's unlanden weight is a mere 1350kg. The KZ1R will be manufactured to order, with each build taking approximately 8 months.
