Carlsson has unveiled their new turning program for the Mercedes CLA-Class at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. Mercedes Benz describes this four-door compact coupe as extraordinarily expressive and athletic model.
On the exterior is gets a front spoiler, aerodynamic components, four-tailpipe sports exhaust system, a new rear bumper and uprated suspension. An additional option is a grill insert made of electro-polished stainless steel. Customers have also an option to order Carlsson’s fully adjustable coil-over suspension kit and alloy wheels ranging in sizes from 18 to 20 inches.
For the interior, Carlsson can create a bespoke cabin with high-quality leather and Alcantara from their in-house saddler, with colours and materials to individual request. Off-the-shelf items consist of high quality floor mats, alloy door-lock pins, illuminated sill plates and an alloy foot-pedal and footrest set.
It is powered by the C-Tronic CB Plug & Drive module, which produces 187 HP (138 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. This is an increase of 31 HP (22 kW) and 50 Nm (36 lb-ft). The CLA250 sees its output rise to 253 HP (186 kW) and 420 Nm (309 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 42 HP (30 kW) and 70 Nm (51 lb-ft).
