Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness 2014 Review

Brabus has unveiled the 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness, the fastest and most powerful luxury sedan, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.

The exclusively appointed luxury sedan is based on the new Mercedes S-Class, the model gets a sporty-elegant designer outfit for the body, modified bumpers, a rear diffuser, carbon fiber fender vents, high-performance braking system with carbon-ceramic discs and forged BRABUS "PLATINUM EDITION" 21-inch wheels.

On the interior, the "iBusiness" infotainment system is based on state-of-the-art components from Apple such as iPad, Mac mini, iPod touch and Apple TV. It gets an exquisite, two-tone all-leather interior, a mobile hotspot and a custom rear console. A 15.2-inch color TFT display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 serves as the central monitor. The electrically deployed monitor is integrated elegantly into the headliner made from the finest leather.

The car is powered by the S63’s 5.5-liter V8 engine bored out to displace 5.9-liters (5,912cc). Other performance-enhancing upgrades include the two special BRABUS turbochargers, modified exhaust manifolds, metal catalysts, forged pistons, an optimized ECU, a billet crankshaft and the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust. Because of all this modification the engine produces 850 HP (625 kW) and an electronically-limited 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) of torque. It can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
