Vauxhall VXR8 Tourer 2013 Review

Vauxhall has announced plans to offer the new VXR8 Tourer in the UK market, the most powerful estate car of Vauxhall. The new Vauxhall VXR8 Tourer is a part of the VXR8 range which includes the saloon and Maloo pick-up. It is a large car by load volume and one of the fastest Vauxhall estate.

It is powered by the 6.2-litre V8 engine that develops 431 hp (317 kW). The power is sent to the rear wheels by either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. This enables it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and is capable of an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

On the exterior the Tourer has an aggressive front bumber with black accents, LED daytime running lights, ventilated front fenders, a bi-modal exhaust system and 20-inch Pentagon alloy wheels.

The interior comes with leather seats, alloy pedals and Vauhall’s Enhanced Driver Interface infotainment system with Aux-in/USB inputs; iPod support and Bluetooth connectivity. It has an 895-litre cargo volume, increasing to 2,000 litres with the rear seats folded down.

The VXR8 Tourer is covered by Lifetime Warranty and carries a price tag starting from £49,500.
