Pagani Huayra 2011 Review

Makers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin keep defining the trends and performance targets in the Supercars market. With each one of these presenting its model in their unique pattern simultaneously taking care of the competitive performance as well. Among these old school guys knocked our new boy in town Pagani. Pagani came to the limelight with the release of Zonda. Its success can be calculated with the fact that the base model was followed by special editions like, Zonda F and Cinque. These supercars turned to be one from the rider’s dream. Keeping that new evolution in mind and to mark appoint beyond that scale, Pagani is coming with their revolutionary car Pagani Huayra 2011. Let us see close and find out what makes the model so high in the list.

Spread the horizon of your imagination and think about amenities you’d like to see in a supercar; wait, you’ll find them in Pagani Huayra 2011. In the interior of Huayra you’ll find high end leather, aluminum and carbon fiber. With this mind Pagani has found the new ‘key’ to blow minds of its users. This time the Pagani’s ignition key is unlike the traditional one and is indeed a miniature of vehicle cast in aluminum, importantly of the same material found on the car wheels.

The experiment to this concept gets delighting when we found that, the toy like key splits into two parts when opened. While the one end holds the ignition key, other is USB stick. A stick they claim can be used for music. Steering wheel of 2011 Pagani Huayra holds functions like, paddles mounted directed upon the steering gear. This means you can now rule the track without taking your hands off the wheel. The leather in the interior gets complimented with the shiny aluminum used to make the center console and panel.

Last but definitely no where lacking is the central touch screen high-definition multimedia system, with, all the major controls including satellite navigation, Bluetooth, audio function and some of the secondary functions together gets well-symbioses inside this high-tech touch screen.

The first under the hood stands the beyond-standards featured carbon titanium chasis. Though the concept is taken from the ancestor model Cinque, but design stands eye-grabbing with the technical narration to everything. The Aluminum alloy suspension works out well with the specially developed tires from Pireli. Emission standards have been kept in mind so that the model can hit the market across globe, including United States and like this Huayra will turn to be the first model to rule the U.S streets. Above it the use of Carbon-titanium in making the body will bring down the weight of Pagani Huayra 2011 to somewhere around 2700 pounds (around 1225 Kg).

Following the footsteps of Zonda in terms of styling, the model features gullwing doors. Change in tail lights can be noticed easily, old rectangular units have been replaced by high mounted three circular lights.

The Pagani Huayra 2011 takes a step ahead and comes to track with all new 3,770 parts, all well capsulated, proper weight distribution and keeping the aerodynamics intact. The motor of this new model has been produced by Mercedes Benz AMG carrying twin turbochargers and bringing out 700 Horsepower and 990 nm Torque mated to X-trac seven-speed sequential transmission.

Looking at these engine specs it is expected that the Huayra 2011 will touch 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds and will hit the top speed of 220 mph. To provide comfort in driving the ‘God of Wind’ special air brakes have been planted from very expensive and lightweight carbon-titanium material assisted by carbon ceramic brake discs.

The price of Pagani Huayra is speculated to touch a whooping $1.3 million. Sounds expensive, but we believe the speed fans will manage to dig the amount and drive this beautiful street king.

Though the price tag makes it away from competitions but talking about performance the model will have to battle against, Ferrari 599 GTO, Bugatti Veyron and the Aston Martin One-77.
