German tuner Oettinger has just announced the first details about their upcoming tuning program for the seventh generation of Volkswagen Golf GTI. It receives more power and status with the legendary Oettinger 16-Valve engine.
The Oettinger aerodynamic package consists of a front spoiler with separate splitter, revised side skirts, rear diffuser, a rear roof spoiler and an exhaust system with twin tailpipes on either side. The complete package will be available from August this year for €1990.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine will be offered with a new air intake, a larger intercooler, a sports exhaust system and an optimized ECU, which will enable the engine to produce up to 350 HP (257 kW).
Also offered will be a sports clutch, adjustable sports suspension, a limited-slip differential and high-performance braking system.
