Lexus has released details of the revised luxury utility vehicle, the 2014 Lexus GX 460. The GX 460 is one of the few premium luxury utility vehicles that can deliver genuine trail driving capability.
The facelifted model now features a new spindle grille with standard LED headlamps and daytime running lights. It also gets a restyled tail lamps and reshaped bumpers. There are also 18-inch split six-spoke wheels with liquid graphite finish.
The luxurious and spacious GX receives several interior enhancements, which include a new linear espresso wood/abyss black trim, a new infotainment system with an eight-inch screen, perforated leather interior, heated and ventilated front seats, a three zone climate control, GPS navigation and an Blind Spot Monitor (BMS) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
The 2014 Lexus GX 460 is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine producing an output of 301hp at 5,500 rpm, mated to a six-speed Electronically Controlled Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) and standard full-time four-wheel drive system with a limited-slip torque-sensing centre differential.
The standard GX will be Priced at $49,085, while the Luxury model will be priced at $60,715.
