Chevrolet has unveiled the Corvette C7.R, a competitive race car, along with the all-new 2015 Corvette Z06. The car makes its competition debut at the 52nd Rolex 24 at Daytona on 25th January.
The model takes the aerodynamic foundation to the next level, sharing aggressive strategies for increased cooling and aerodynamic downforce, including similar front splitters, rocker panels, and front- and rear-brake cooling ducts.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R is powered by a 5.5-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine. The output is not specified. Racing regulations limited the engine’s displacement, but direct injection gives the C7.R more power and more precise throttle control.
