Bugatti presented the Bugatti Type 57G Tank build in Molsheim in 1936 and 1937 at the Pebble Beach.
This racing car was built in a lot of only three and was aimed to lead the world of French motor racing. This racing car was an initiative of Jean Bugatti, to develop a sports car used for long distance competitions.
The 1937 Bugatti Type 57G Tank was powered by the Bugatti 3.3-liter row eight cylinder engine delivering 200 hp. Thanks to its aerodynamically designed body, it could easily reach high speed than its competitors at that time.
