BMW has unveiled the high-performance sports car of tomorrow, the M4 coupe concept at the iconic annual Pebble Beach automobile weekend.
Painted in “Aurum Dust” exclusively developed for this model, the sport car resembles the production M4 and continues with BMW M’s design language – strong in character, emotional and extremely dynamic. Large air inlets in the dynamic front, a swift design language in the side and a sporty, low rear give clear visual indication of the car’s tremendous dynamic potential.
Other exterior changes include the BMW M double-bar kidney grille with twin round headlamps featuring LED technology. It also gets a redesigned M gill incorporated with Air Breather, combined with Air Curtain within the front apron helps ventilate the wheel arches. CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics) elements such as the front splitter, the roof, or the rear diffuser underline the optimized lightweight concept down to the smallest detail. Also 20-inch wheels cover up the M carbon ceramic brakes.
On the rear the concept features two pair of carbon fiber tailpipes enclosed in a carbon fiber rear diffuser.
No details regarding the performance have been released.
