Audi A6 Allroad 2013 Review

During this year's Geneva Auto Show Audi revealed the latest Audi A6 allroad model which will be made available on the automotive market later this year. Both its 2000 and 2006 predecessors were held in high regards during their era and by the looks of it, the Audi A6 allroad 2013 intends not to disappoint.

Under the hood many improvements have been made and the upcoming Audi A6 allroadwill be marketed with three engine variants, a 3.0 liter TFSI and two variants of a 3.0 liter TDI engine. Performances have improved greatly and compared to the Avant, and the new generation A6 allroad is expected to have a lower fuel consumption of up to 20%.

The most distinctive features offered by the Audi A6 allroad 2013 are the wider side-skirts and wheel arches, aluminium insertions and an underbody fully protected by stainless steel, making it the perfect candidate for an off-road trip, but at the same time maintaining the sporty elements we all love. Furthermore the Audi A6 allroad 2013 can be delivered in the Java Braun color, which is available exclusively for this model.

On the interior there's no doubt that the Audi A6 allroad 2013 delivers high quality materials, tons of luxuries and loads of optional extras. The allroad comes with an advanced onboard computer which enables the driver to see the car's pitch, aluminium buttons and switches, black carpets and aluminium elements emblazoned with the text "allroads".

Optional extras include the heads-up display which will enable the driver to read important information onto the windshield, deluxe front seats which come with ventilation and massage functions and LED ambient lights. Nevertheless, one of the most attractive extra is the hard drive-based MMI Navigation system which features touchpad operation via an eight-inch display and voice controls. Audio-wise the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System will come hand in hand with 15 speakers.

The nature of the Audi A6 Allroad 2013 offers plenty of space and comfort, and the luggage compartment has a capacity of 565 liters, or 1680 liters with the rear seats folded. More so, the luggage compartment has been redesigned and the standard equipment includes a load-securing kit that can divide the luggage compartment as needed.

As far as pricing goes, the Audi A6 allroad is expected to be sold at the starting price of roughly £43,145, and as far as the US market goes, unfortunately Audi decided not to ship the A6 allroad onto US soil.
