Aston Martin Vantage SP10 2013 Review

Inspired by its GT4 race car, Aston Martin has prepared a special edition of the V8 Vantage S, called the Aston Martin Vantage SP10. The Vantage SP10 is a road model that has been engineered in the style of the luxury sports car maker’s GT4 racers. The Vantage SP10 is offered in a bespoke specification that reflects its close affinity with the racing car.

The Vantage SP10 is powered by the V8 4.7-liter engine producing 430 hp (321 kW) and 361 lb-ft (490 Nm) but is equipped with a six-speed manual in base form and can be had as either a coupe or roadster.

Optionally available is a 7-speed automated manual transmission (formerly the only transmission available on the V8 Vantage S). Regardless of the gearbox choice, the SP10 accelerates to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 189 mph (305 km/h).
