Alfa Romeo has released details for the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The concept previews the 2015 4C Spider production car.
The 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Design Preview is an ultra-lightweight, high-performance driving machine build with extensive use of carbon fibre and SMC. The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is powered by a 1,750 litre turbo petrol engine which drives the rear wheels via a six-speed dual dry-clutch Alfa TCT transmission. The car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h ( 0-62mph) in just 4.5 secons and has a top speed of 155mph.
In addition, the outstanding deceleration and lateral acceleration performance, and the balanced 40:60 front-to-rear weight distribution, remain unaffected by the evolution from coupé to Spider.
