2010 Renault Megane Estate Price

The French carmaker has announced today the 2010 Renault Megane Estate price for the UK market where it will start being delivered in November.

The Sport Tourer comes in a bewildering array of 21 different models across four trim levels – Expression, Dynamique, TomTom Edition and Privilège. But the good news is that the cheapest comes in at just. The 2010 Renault Megane Estate price starts at £15,485 for the entry Expression 1.6 100 model and goes up to £22,785.

But even the entry-level Expression 1.6 comes equipped with air conditioning, front and rear airbags, ESP, front and rear electric windows, keyless entry and chrome roof bars. Also included across the range are four new engines – which are the 1.4 TCe (Turbo Control Efficiency) 130, the 2.0 CVT 140, the 2.0 dCi 160 FAP and the 2.0 TCe 180.

Following a deluge of new products in recent months, the latest model to appear in Renault showrooms from today is the latest incarnation of the Mégane Sport Tourer, with prices from £15,485.

Premiered earlier in the year at the Geneva motor show alongside six other new models, the stylish debutant has been priced aggressively from the outset, and in addition to its impressive value-for-money, boasts a winning combination of low-emission ‘Renault eco²' engines and impressive equipment levels.

Similar to the recently launched New Scénic range, several new engines and transmissions appear in the range for the first time. With four in total, they are the 1.4  TCe (Turbo Control Efficiency) 130, 2.0 CVT 140 (Continuously Variable Transmission), 2.0 dCi 160 FAP and 2.0 TCe 180.

At UK launch, the range includes 21 models, spread across four trim levels: Expression, Dynamique, TomTom Edition and Privilège.

Starting at £15,485 with Expression 1.6 100, key features on this entry-level version include 4x15W RDS radio CD, air conditioning, front and rear curtain airbags, ESP, folding front passenger seat, front and rear electric windows, keyless car with Renault card and longitudinal chrome roof bars.

The core model, Dynamique adds 16” alloys wheels, automatic lights and wipers, Bluetooth and MP3 connection, Hands free Renault card and leather steering wheel. As its name suggests, TomTom Edition, adds the affordable, fully-integrated Carminat TomTom, to Dynamique trim, but for an additional £360, instead of the usual £450 option price.

Completing the launch range, Privilège provides luxurious family motoring, adding dual zone climate control, electric folding mirrors, electrochrome rear view mirror and rear armrest with storage.

An ample range of comfort and status-enhancing options are also available to tailor specific models to individual tastes. Among them, are 17” alloy wheels, automatic parking brake, electric panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery.

Just like the New Clio and Scénic ranges, the load-carrying version of the New Mégane range also benefits from the new Carminat TomTom® satellite navigation system, at £450.

Priced £15,485 to £22,785 on-the-road, with a further trim level, Extreme, to follow in the autumn.
