Lancia Voyager 2012 Review

The alliance between Chrysler and Lancia seems to be fruitful and besides the two other Lancia/Chrysler models that made their debut during the past few months – the Thema and Flavia- a third model has emerged last year, this time covering the minivan segment.

The Lancia Voyager 2012 is powered by one of two engines. First there's a 2.8 liter CRD Euro-5 unit developing 163 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. The 2.8 liter unit is rated at 7.9 / 100 km mixed, and CO2 emissions are 207 g/km.

The second unit is a more powerful 3.6 liter V6 engine developing 287 horsepower and 344 Nm of torque. Fuel efficiency is rated at 10.8 liters /100 km mixed, whereas CO2 emissions are rated at 252 g/KM.

Features available in the Voyager are the electrically controlled tailgate which includes an obstacle detection system, LED lamps, and an automatic 3-zone climate control featuring independent control unit for the second row of seats. More interesting is the "Stow 'n Go" design that enables you to adjust the passenger compartment in order to accommodate both passengers and luggage.

Furthermore, a Chrysler UConnect infotainment system with dual-LCD has been fitted, featuring Bluetooth connectivity and ParkView rear camera just to name a few.

In terms of equipment the Voyager 2012 is offered with two trim levels, Gold and Platinum. The Gold trim level includes a set of 17 inch alloy wheels, leather covered steering wheel gear lever and seats, heated and electrically adjustable seats, fog lights, park assist, UConnect infotainment system, "Stow 'n Go" design for the third row of seats, multi-zone climate control and sliding electric doors.

The Platinum level includes leather and Alcantara upholstery and adds numerous features on top of what the Gold trim level offers, including a 6.5 touch screen GPS navigation, ParkView reversing camera, Xenon headlights with headlight washer, Keyless Entry & Go, Electric "Stow 'n Go" system for the third row of eseats, rain sensors, adjustable lumbar level passenger seat, a 9-speaker sound system and a 40 GB HDD.
