Chevrolet had introduced the 2014 Camaro, a classic American muscle car, at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The 2014 Camaro is a car that comes with fuel efficiency, safety, handling, technology and build quality expected in a modern performance coupe.

Exterior enhancements for 2014MY include new front and rear fascias, new headlamps and tail lamps, a unique SS hood, a unique RS front grille, new decklid and spoiler, new diffusers and exhaust tips. The new Camaro is available in four trims: LS, LT, SS and ZL1.

On the interior, it features trim in a distinctive, matte-metallic finish named Octane, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and standard Recaro seats with microfiber suede inserts. The new seats feature aggressive bolsters as well as seat cutouts inspired by the five-point harnesses found on racing seats. To save weight, both front seats incorporate manual adjustment.

The LS and LT are powered by a 323-horsepower direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 with a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic transmission. The SS's 6.2-liter V8 generates 426 horsepower with the standard six-speed manual, and 400 horsepower with the optional six-speed automatic with sequential shift control.
