At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Audi unveiled its two furious models. We recently discussed RS7 Sportback Performance, which was accompanied by the Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016. Getting more powerful the model maintains its mileage. Let us have a look at the review of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 to know more about this marvelous unveil.

  • Engine: 4.0 Liter TFSI
  • Power: 650 hp
  • Torque: 700 nm (With Overboost: 750 nm)
  • Top Speed: 155 mph (electronically limited)/ 174 mph upon request/189.5 mph with dynamic package.

The interior of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 is a carryover of the basic model. This implies that the sports seats with head restraints and bolstering is still placed inside. The three-spoke steering wheel hides behind it custom instrument cluster while over the dashboard is a retractable display for infotainment system. As an option buyers do have an option take the car home with a head-up display and Advanced Sound System from the house of bang & Olufsen. The interior isn’t just about these features; there is also lots of cargo space. With its rear seats folded the model can load around 59.3 cubic feet of cargo. In all the interior details of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 though carried forward but are splendid enough to win your heart.

Just like the interior, exterior of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 gets very few changes. Starting with the front fascia there is a sharper grille featuring darker chrome finish. The LED headlamps get sleeker look. The air ducts in the front fenders get bolder with the chrome work. Moving towards the rear end, you’ll notice a new set of 21-inch cast aluminum wheels. At the rear end changes get more confined with newly designed taillights. Apart from this the entire exterior details of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 remain same as the less powerful model that we recently saw. Being loyal I don’t find any harm in it but having a few more changes could have made this powerful model bit distinct from the regular version.

Beneath the hood of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 is a 4.0 Liter TFSI engine generating total output of 650 hp and peak torque of 700 nm (750 nm with Overboost). With this power rumbling the streets the top speed of Audi RS6 Avant Performance 2016 can touch the mark of 189.5 mph while the dynamic package on. However the top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph but can be had till 174 mph upon request. The model can sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds only.
