These illustrations from Left Lane News indicate what the new Audi R8 fighter from Mercedes could look like. Mercedes appears to be partnering up with its race partner H.W.A and working on their next generation supercar instead of teaming up with McLaren. The new car would be much smaller and much cheaper at $110K compared to over $450K for the SLR. Aimed to fight directly with the R8, the new car will be called SLS and feature a mid-engine design.
