Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet 2012
Porsche is offering an all new model of the 911 once again in the form of the 2012 Carrera 4 GTS. With a powerplant originating from the same 3.8 liter 6 cylinder as the Carrera S model, this engine includes a new intake duct to add 23 horsepower for a respectable 408 horsepower output. Aspiration allows a low to mid range torque curve increase to maximize peak power output. Even so, this high performance engine still achieves a 25.7mpg rating in the Coupe and a 25.2 mpg rating for the Cabrio. The GTS Coupe and Cabriolet feature all wheel drive with Traction Management for increased stability when cornering the curves, and 0-60 times come in under 4.8 seconds. The GTS gives consumers a standard six-speed manual or the Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) seven-speed option. Exterior front apron features a black lip spoiler and sideskirts while the interior is trimmed in black and includes sport seats with Acantara inserts.
