Ford Focus BEV Prototype

The Ford Focus BEV is powered by a permanent-magnet electric traction motor that develops 100kW and 320 Nm of torque which takes its juice from a 23kWh lithium-ion battery pack. the company says the Ford Focus BEV has a range of 75 miles and can reach speed of up to 85mph. Using a common house socket, the Ford Focus BEV can be re-charged in between six to eight hours.
