BMW announced the introduction of an entirely new model series, the all-new BMW 2-Series Coupe, designed to replace the 1-Series Coupe. The BMW 2-Series Coupe raises the bar in the premium sub-compact segment in terms of dynamic ability, aesthetic appeal and emotional allure.
The sporty and luxurious Coupe has a distinctive front fascia with a unique grille, bespoke headlights and large air intakes. The two-door model is 2.8 inches (72 mm) longer, 32mm wider and has a wheelbase that has been stretched by 30mm than its predecessor. The result is an increase in interior space and 0.7 cu.ft. (20 liters) of additional luggage capacity (now 13.8 cu.ft./390 liters, based on EU measures).
The interior comes with driver- focused design of the cockpit, contemporary functionality and high-quality materials. It is equipped with cloth seats and satin silver trim. Options include Dakota leather upholstery, brushed aluminum or fineline stream wood trim and a 6.5- or 8.8-inch iDrive display.
Engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology deliver segment-leading figures in terms of both sporting ability and efficiency. The BMW 228i Coupe is the first sub-compact BMW model to be powered by the 240 hp version of the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
The range-topping, the BMW M235i is powered by M Performance 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with TwinPower technology delivering 322 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque.
The 2014 range gets new style features, starting from the new redesigned grille, a chrome-plated frame, Anthracite Grey body colour, contrasting roof, mirror fairings and 15'' Silver Style rims. The 2014 range features five trim levels (Impression, Progression, Distinctive, Superbike and Quadrifoglio Verde) and ten body colors.
The interior is more sophisticated with four new upholstery combinations to choose from: two new Evoluzione fabrics (Black/Titanium or Black/Red) and the new Heritage Black fabric with electrically welded Alfa Romeo badge.
The MiTo MY 2014 is powered by the new 105 HP 0.9 TwinAir engine delivering 105 HP (72 kW) at 5500 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox and with the DNA selector in Dynamic position. It clocks a top speed of 184 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in only 11.4 seconds.
The Fox Marketing Hyundai Veloster Turbo 2014 is described as the “most powerful street-focused Veloster Turbo ever”. It is powered by Hyundai’s 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder direct-injected, turbocharged Gamma powerplant. The package consists of advanced engine components, including a new 845 Motorsports turbo upgrade, BorgWarner EFR turbo, front-mounted intercooler, AEM water/methanol injection system, VP Racing 101-octane performance fuel and an ECU tune from SeoulfulRacing, boosts output to an impressive 370 horsepower.
To ensure that all that power is under control it comes with an UNIQ Performance strut brace, ImportShark chassis bracing and fully-adjustable ARK Performance coil-over suspension. Braking performance has been improved with WP Pro EX6 6-piston front calipers with carbon fiber ducting and 13.6-inch wavy-cut rotors for neck-wrenching stopping power.
The Veloster Turbo has modified fascias, a front lip spoiler and a revised grille. There's also Takata Street Pro LE racing seats and a hand-mixed paint from BASF color lab dubbed R-M Oynx HD Waterborne SkyAqua Pearl is the most striking exterior component.
The limited edition model features matt crystal white body panels, distinctive light lemon mirror caps and accents on the 15-inch nine-spoke alloy wheels. BoConcept logos in the mirror triangles complete the style accents.
On the interior it gets unique tobacco brown leather-look seats teamed grey quilted fabric inlays and light lemon double stitching. The dashboard, door panels and kneepad employ the same colour scheme. Also included is a two-spoke leather steering wheel with matching light lemon double stitching.
The Smart forTwo BoConcept is priced from £11,940 OTR for the coupé and from £13,440 OTR for the cabrio, and is available to order now.
Honda S660 CONCEPT is an open-top sports-type mini-vehicle that features a dynamic and advanced styling design as well as various new initiatives.
Honda has yet to release any official details of what lies under the S660’s sharp-edged body.
MINI has revealed an exclusive Frozen Black metallic paint finish edition in limited edition for the MINI Countryman and MINI Paceman. This innovative paint which has a textured, shimmering matt finish, gives the car a striking and expressive appearance.
The Frozen Black metallic paint finish is created using a complex manufacturing process, which involves not just innovative technology but also a high level of manual craftsmanship. The special surface treatment encompasses the base layer for grip and corrosion protection. It has added silicates to create the matted impression as well as the velvet effect.
On the exterior the front and rear aprons and the exterior mirror caps are finished separately in the paint finish Frozen Black metallic. The finish is completely weather resistant and car wash resistant.

The new Jaguar XJ is offered with a choice of a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder i4 turbocharged petrol engine, diesel and supercharged petrol 3.0-litre V6 engines and four 5.0-litre V8 petrol engines, one normally aspirated and three supercharged. These engines are mated to Jaguar's eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Caterham has launched the 2014 Seven 160, the new entry-level variant of the iconic sports car, powered by a super-compact, turbocharged Suzuki engine. The Seven 160 – EU customers will get an altered version, called 165.

The new Caterham Seven 160 is powered by the 660cc three-cylinder turbocharged Suzuki engine producing 80hp. It can accelerate to 60 mph in a brisk 6.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 100 mph.
Production will begin in January 2014, with first deliveries later that Spring.

Suzuki has unveiled the all-new 2014 SX4 Crossover at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The new SX4 Crossover is a production model based on the S-Cross, which Suzuki showcased at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Suzuki has created the SX4 Crossover by uniting its compact car know-how with technologies honed for sport utility vehicles.
The styling combines a bold, sporty crossover shape, strong lines, a refined, distinctive character and excellent aerodynamics. More luggage space is provided and it comes with next generation 4WD with ALLGRIP technology. It comes with a double sliding glass panoramic sunroof – the first of its kind – has one of the largest opening areas in this category.
The engine options are 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. The 1.6-litre petrol engine is based on the current M16A. Lower friction and lower weight in the engine and related parts heighten fuel economy without detracting from the high power and torque of the M16A. Lightness and low friction help to give the 1.6-litre diesel engine superior fuel economy.
