Team McLaren un-wrapped the McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The car is released to pay homage to the powerful 650S and will be available only in 500 units. Carrying more power than the model it pays tribute to this model’s exclusivity makes it more special. The interior of McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 holds resemblance with the interior of 675LT Coupe version. However the major difference in here is with the infinite headroom, a button that activates the top and the rear screen which gets a modified look. Apart from this, everything else remains same; be it the racing seats that are wrapped in Alcantara and leather or the slim center stack. The three-spoke flat bottom steering wheel also remains same. Company however also provides wide range of customizing options with dual-tone upholstery designs, contrast stitching and extra carbon-fiber. In all the interior details of McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 includes everything from the basic coupe with lots of headspace and better personalizing options for this exclusive model.


Just like the interior, exterior of McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 keeps similarities with the coupe sibling however there are few changes here as well that make the model look distinct. The primary difference here is with the hood and roof. The above mentioned inclusions simultaneously change the door sills making them more extended. There is also a smaller air intake beneath the main engine air intake and the active Longtail airbrake. The rear end too receives few changes like the twin-circular exhaust pipes that are made from titanium. There is also an open rear fascia which serves the purpose of better heat extraction. The rear bumper comes integrated with air intakes and carbon fiber rear diffuser; the former is located at the outer edges of the rear bumper while latter is at the bottom corner. In all, rolling over the 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels the exterior of McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 looks exclusive and aggressive.


Beneath the hood of McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 3.8 liter V8 Twin Turbo engine cranking total output of 666 hp and peak torque of 700 nm paired to seven-speed SSG transmission. With this power the top speed of McLaren 675LT Spider 2017 touches the mark of 203 mph while the 0-62 mph sprint can be knocked in just 2.9 seconds.
