Audi has upgraded its luxury class A6 model with the new 2009 A6 model. The A6 features a broad selection of engines: six gas and four diesels in a choice of 4, 6 or 8 cylinders which use direct fuel injection, TFSI and TDI technologies. The A6 performance varies based on the engine but begins with 170 HP with 2.0 TSI turbocharged engine and could go as high as 290 HP with 3.0 TFSI engine. With 3.0 TFSI, the A6 sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.9 seconds and has the top speed limited to 155 mph. The fuel economy stats for A6 looks good with 24.76 mpg (9.5 liters per 100 km). Check out more details after the jump.

The fourth-generation 2009 Acura TL features a choice of two powerful VTEC V6 powertrains (280HP 3.5L and 305HP 3.7L) and a luxurious and technologically advanced interior. And for the first time, the Acura TL is available in a choice of front-drive TL or all-wheel-drive TL SH-AWD configurations. The RS6 is the latest supercar from Audi. With 3.4kg/hp power-to-weight ratio, 580 horses power and 650 Nm of torque, the Audi RS6 is a car without equal. The RS6 draws its power from the twin-turbo V10 engine with FSI direct fuel injection, dry-sump lubrication and two turbochargers. The RS6 catapults from standstill to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 4.5 seconds and has the top speed limited electronically to 155 mph. Continue reading for more details.

Pointiac G8 Sport Truck (ST) has the same 361 HP V8 engine and the basic architecture as the G8 GT performance sedan. G8 ST has a 73.9 inch cargo bed with 42.7 cubic feet of cargo space and can carry a payload of 1,000 pounds or tow a 3,500 pound trailer. With G8 ST, Pontiac is aiming to create a unique niche segment in the marketplace: a sports car with truck-like cargo and towing capabilities.

Cadillac gave a special sneak preview of the next-generation SRX Crossover, a 2010 model that will launch worldwide in mid-2009. This next-generation SRX crossover has a lot similarity in styling and proportion to the Cadillac's Provoq Concept that appeared in many auto shows during 2008. The all-new SRX wil debut at major global auto show later this year at which time complete details will be released.

Cadillac showcased its latest production-car design at the Pebble Beach with a world-premiere of CTS sport wagon. The Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon is based on the CTS sport sedan and the CTS coupe concept. The CTS sport wagon is powered by a 3.6L V6 direct injection engine with 304 HP and 26 mpg highway fuel economy. Like the sport sedan, the CTS sport wagon also includes AWD as an option.

The Cadillac Provoq fuel cell concept combines the new fifth generation fuel cell system and a lithium-ion battery to produce required electric power. Provoq doesn't rely on the petroleum and has no emission other than water. The Provoq concept has a top speed of 100mph (160 km/h) and can drive 300 miles (483 km) on a single fill of hydrogen - with 280 miles (450 km) from hydrogen and 20 miles (32 km) on pure, battery electric energy. The sprint from 0-60 mph is completed in just 8.5 seconds.

The Pontiac Solstice Coupe is powered by a 2.4L 4 cylinder engine that generates 173 HP, while the GXP version is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged Ecotec engine with 260 HP. Alpina is a german car tuner. Unlike other tuners, Alpina has not only increased the performance of BMW but has boosted the fuel economy stats too. The BMW Alpina D3 Bi Turbo gives a combined fuel economy of 52.3 mpg. Wow! That is impressive when a car can complete a sprint from 0-62 mph in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 152mph.
