Manhart MH3 V8 RS Clubsport 2012

Based on the BMW E92 M3, the Manhart MH3 V8 RS Clubsport 2012 looks fabulous in the bright orange and black stripe. Manhart Racing increased the performance of the 4.4L V8 powerplant from 550hp to 750 hp, which propels the car to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

Manhart Racing has been causing uproar in the tuning industry before already with its spectacular motor conversions and sensational high-performance vehicles on BMW basis. Now, the Geilenkirchen performance specialists launch the next rocket stage – burning stronger and brighter than ever before.

The engine space of the new E92 M3-based MH3 V8 RS Clubsport hides a 4.4 litre V8 motor as it is also used in the high performance SUV X6 M. However, Manhart Racing increased performance of the Biturbo power plant from 555 to now 750 HP!

For this purpose, among others modified turbochargers, a larger charging air cooler and reinforced pistons and rods are used. Furthermore, the X6 M cooler package and an additional oil cooler were installed. Under consideration of its empty weight of 1,590 kilos, the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport has a performance weight of 2.12 kg/HP.

For comparison: even the brand-new and hot Lamborghini Aventador (700 HP, 1.575 kg) has to turn tail in this respect, dragging along 2.25 kg/ HP. It is therefore hardly surprising that the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport exceeds even some of the super sports cars in the area of "driving performance". In only 3.2 seconds, the tail-driven car will reach 100 km/h. Acceleration only starts beyond 350 kilometres per hour. It goes without saying that the four 80 millimetre end tubes of the completely titanium-produced exhaust system with its two racing catalysers do not exude any gentle songs. The MH3 V8 RS Clubsport's repertoire covers the entire goosebumps sound scale from dull droning to furious roars. The brutal 910 newton meter drive is combined with a 6-gear automatic sports gear from the X6 M, as well as an E60 M5 locking differential.

Of course, this kind of bullet just has to be equipped with an adequate brake system.

Manhart Racing trusts in potent MOVIT stoppers and installs 396x34 millimetre discs with 6 piston fixed callipers on the front and 380x32 millimetre discs with 4-piston callipers on the rear axle.

Manhart Racing takes new paths with its in-house carbon car body parts as used in the Lamborghini-orange MH3 V8 RS Clubsport: the cowl (with integrated GTR air slots) is made of ultra-light but highly resilient composite material, as well as the trunk lid in CSL design, which is applied with a tail unit dimensioned to fit any GT racing car. Going a step lower will also show an enticing shimmer: the rotating full carbon wide-built set comprises an adjustable front spoiler with sword, carbon fibre wheel runs for front and rear, side sills and a tail diffusor. The side mirror casings are also made of carbon.

Another in-house novelty are the ultra-light Concave One "Black Edition" monoblock forged wheels with their concave design to draw all looks while 9x20 inch wheel rims with 255/30ZR20er Continental Sport Contact 5 high performance tyres rotate on the front axle, Manhart Racing even installed powerful 12x20-inch wheel rims in the rear M3 wheel casings, equipped with 325/25 rubber rolls. Perfect ground adhesion is achieved by replacing the M chassis by an MHR Clubsport threaded chassis.

Of course, Manhart Racing also went all the way with interior refinement, giving the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport not only in-house carbon full-shell seats, but also a racing sports fair exuding carbon figure interior package. Fine alcantara decorates the door coverings, canopy and trunk lining. The pilot will control this racer perfectly with a BMW performance steering wheel with illuminated switching rockers, while and additional Manhart Racing display integrated into the middle console provides important and/or entertaining parameters like pending charge pressure, present G-forces or measured acceleration and Vmax best values. The passengers are securely enclosed by a Wiechers roll cage with back and flank protection, painted in the vehicle's colour.
