The competition version of Dacia Duster by Renault Sport Technologies which will be driven by Alain Prost in the Trophee Andros ice-racing series. The Dacia Duster Competition will have quite a monster under its hood - a 3.0-liter, 24-valve V6 engine developing 350hp at 7,500rpm and 360Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The power of the Dacia Duster Competition will be sent via a 6-speed SADEV sequential gearbox to a 4x4 drive system.

The Dacia Duster Competition car is equipped with limited slip differentials which are indispensable for the extreme conditions. The Dacia Duster Competition is built on a tubular steel chassis and has a double wishbone suspension.

Toyota introduced two modified Prius hybrids at the SEMA Motor Show. The Prius Aerius (Latin for “belonging to the air”) is a show car and the Prius Aemulus (meaning “envious imitation”) is a drivable close replica of the first one, which has been donated to the Environmental Media Association (EMA) for a charity auction.

2010 Toyota Prius and the Aero Kit was created by Five Axis Design using polyurethane and partially recycled materials manufactured by 3D Carbon. This kit consists of: front lip spoiler, side skirts and a rear lower valance, aerodynamically tested by using state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software by Swift Engineering. The special paint was created by Nippon Color Design Studio America (CDSA) using an environmentally-sensitive waterborne technology to produce a custom three-coat color using a blue-green Lumina pigment that resembles airiness and the color of the sky.

The box-on-wheels Scion xB project truck was part of this year’s “Scion xB Tuner Challenge” that pits three designers, including Brandon Leung, against each other to build the best customized xB for SEMA. Each was given a car to modify, with $10,000 cash awarded for the best vehicle.

It features a Five Axis Design 4-Piece lip kit, custom truck conversion and metal fabrication by ADF, custom two-tone paint by ADF, a new clutch, a limited-slip differential, a rear stabilizer bar and brakes.

The Toyota Tacoma TX Package Concept was unveiled at this year’s SEMA Show and promises to gauge public reaction to its unique design themes and multiple performance modifications.

The base was a 2010 Tacoma PreRunner SR5 with a 4.0-litre V6 DOHC 24V VVT-i engine making 174kW (236hp). The transmission is a 5-speed automatic. Some modifications include Bilstein 5100 Series shocks plated in cadmium, genuine Toyota lightweight aluminium tube steps with black finish, a TRD stainless steel cat-back exhaust system and TRD 16 X 7.5 off-road wheels inside BF Goodrich all-terrain T/A KO LT285/75X16 tyres.

Equipment already installed in the factory car includes fog lamps, chrome grille surrounds, colour-coded bumpers and a fibre-reinforced sheet molded composite (SMC) inner bed with steel outer panels. Passenger comfort creatures include cruise control, a leather steering wheel with audio controls and TRD floor mats.

The 2009 Scion xD Mobile Kitchen was unveiled at SEMA. Paying homage to the Los Angeles roaming Kogi Korean BBQ truck famous both for its combination of Korean with Mexican food, the show car spares very little in fitting all the required equipment for beers and a barbeque into every nook and cranny of a Scion Kogi xD.

The Scion Kogi xD Mobile Kitchen by MV Designz rear seats are ditched in favour of a fridge incorporated into the left rear door and an ice chest and sink fitted to the right rear door. At the rear, the griddle allows for the usual culinary culprits – burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, sweetcorn, etc. – cooked in front of a 10-inch monitor with utensils pinched from the left tail light and finished off by condiments stored in the right.

Toyota unveiled the Toyota Surfrider Camry Hybrid at the 2009 SEMA Auto Show.

For this new project Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) U.S.A., Inc. has partnered with Surfrider Foundation to create a specially modified Camry Hybrid fueled by compressed natural gas (CNG), in order to reflect Toyota’s involvement with environmental awareness. The CNG system was built by Metal Crafters of Fountain Valley and to convert the stock Camry Hybrid to a CNG vehicle, the gasoline system was replaced with a compressed natural gas system which was installed in the spare tire well area.

Excitement is building as the first 25 full production all-electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV arrive at Bristol’s Royal Portbury Docks. Final preparation has already begun before the cars hit the road on December 12th 2009 as part of a West Midlands based government trial. The 2010 Mitsubishi i-MiEV is an electric car with a top speed of 81 mph and a range of 100 miles. The re-charge of the 2010 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will take around 6 hours.

The 2010 Mitsubishi i-MiEV is a four-seater that went on sale in Japan in July and have been sold out. It's production will begin in Europe in October 2010. The 2010 Mitsubishi i-MiEV price for the European market has not been announced yet.

A supplier of traffic-surveillance cars to local authorities and police forces has started trialling Toyota iQs, with a view to replacing its current small-car fleet. The Toyota iQ surveillance car will replace the currently used smart in the British local authorities and police forces. The Toyota iQ surveillance car will be used by the Traffic Enforcement Systems and will be equipped with a range of mobile CCTV and GPS systems, thermal-imaging cameras and numberplate-readers.

The Toyota iQ surveillance car is currently just a demonstrator, powered by the 1.0-litre engine coupled with the automatic transmission. The Toyota iQ has been chosen as the next surveillance car because it can carry a higher weight - especially two operating officers with all they armor on.

The facelifted version of South Korean manufacturer Hyundai's Santa Fe received its UK price tag today, as the car is getting ready to meet right-hand drive roads. The 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe equipped with the 2.2l CRDi engine, Style trim, will be retailed starting from £21,495 (at next year's higher 17.5 percent VAT rate).

The new "R" diesel engine to come with the Santa Fe develops 194 bhp and 311 lb.-ft of torque, meaning a 26 to 27 percent improvement compared with the previous engine fitted on the Santa Fe. The SUV achieves naught to sixty acceleration in 9.8 seconds.

Toyota has announced today the 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser price for the British market. The 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser will be available in the UK in the Five-door model seating up to seven, powered by 3.0-litre D-4D engine with five-speed automatic transmission.

Some of the all-terrain equipment of the 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser includes full-time all-wheel drive with Torsen limited slip differential, an Electrically modulated Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) and Multi-Terrain Select (MTS). The 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser is also fitted with a Multi-Terrain Monitor system, Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain ABS. The 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser price for the UK market starts at £29,795 and goes up to £44,795 for the top of the range model.

In its standard version the Volkswagen Golf GTD is powered by a 2,0 liter TDI engine that delivers 170 hp. Not bad for a diesel car, no? But MTM decided it can do better. And with a few little modifications they managed to raise the engine’s output to 205 hp.

Besides that the MTM GTD also comes with a black paint, a new exhaust systems, performance brakes, sport suspensions and 19 inch bimoto sport alloy rims which underline the vehicles character and sporty look.

No words on how the car’s performances have been improved have been said yet. Stay tuned, we might get more details soon!

The 2010 Fiat Doblo comes with more passenger space with a wheelbase of 2755 mm, a roomy 790 litre luggage compartment, reduced CO2 emissions with 129 g/km with the 1.3 Multijet 90 HP engine, standard safety features and highly modular interiors with seats that can be folded and tilted.

In Europe, Fiat would offer Doblo with four engines: a 94bhp petrol, and three diesel Multijet engines with 89bhp, 104bhp and 133bhp. A dual fuel petrol/methane engine, which won’t be sold in the UK, and an additional diesel engine linked to Dualogic manual unit with a paddleshift will be offered at a later date. Start-stop will be offered as standard.

The Fiat Doblo range is available with Euro 4 and Euro 5 versions and offers a Start&Stop device as standard, which cuts off the engine temporarily when the car is stopped to guarantee reduced fuel consumption and emissions.

MTM’s programme for the revival of the five cylinder turbo engine, the Audi TT-RS, goes from performance modifications up to braking systems and bimoto wheels in 19 or 20 inches.

The highest stage of MTM’s performance modifications includes a complete conversion of the engine unit and a handmade exhaust system, which boosts the stock Audi 2.5 TFSI 250 kW (340hp) quattro to the striking 424 hp (312kW). Furthermore, the MTM Audi TT-RS is fitted with a bimoto-forged rims set in size 9 x 20’’.

To help promote the launch of the new Evolution 911 course at the Porsche Experience Center in Silverstone, England, Porsche has unveiled a new game which challenges enthusiasts to identify specific 911 models by the sound of their exhaust note.

The course costs £275 for a 90 minute program, offering drivers a chance to travel back through the historic years of sports car performance, and experience for themselves the feeling offered by the Porsche 911.

The Evolution 911 course gives visitors the opportunity to drive a 1986 911 3.2 Carrera (G series), a 1994 911 Carrera (Type 993), and a current generation 911 Carrera S (Type 997).

The 2009 MTM Bentley Continental GT Birkin Edition is a high performance two door super sports car.

The standard Continental GT has a 412kW (560hp) V12 engine making torque of 650Nm. MTM upped these numbers to 635hp (467kW) and 650hp (478kW). Peak torque went up to 795Nm. The result is that three seconds were shaven off the standard car's time at the Hockenheim racing circuit while its 0 - 200km/h time of 15.9 seconds was also three seconds quicker. The car achieved 331km/h at the Nardo Oval in Italy.

The MTM Bentley also features adjustable sports chassis and four pipe exhaust systems that reduce the cars height up to 30 mm. The MTM Bentley features 21-inch alloy wheels with six piston calipers and diamond cut brakes that ensure safety braking of the car even at higher speeds.

The 2010 BMW R1200GS Adventure is getting the HP2 Sport's DOHC, eight valve engine. The power bump is increased in engine output by 5 per cent to 81 kW (110 hp) at 7,750 rpm and maximum torque to 120 Nm (88 lb-ft) at 6,000 rpm as is the sound-improving exhaust flap.

Optional extras and accessories tailored to each model with BMW’s usual high level of quality are also there and also new additional headlight in LED technology for the BMW R 1200 GS (accessory).

To promote the 2010 Mustang, Ford’s Mustang Unleashed campaign has helped a blind man drive a new Mustang, an 18-year-old challenge his shop teacher on a drag strip, and a drift racer compete in Japan. Now for all of those who have played racing games have wondered how it would be if all that could happen for real. Ford has given four assionate gamers the chance to bring racing dreams to life at Willow Springs Raceway in California.
 
Ford has staged a tournament with the best Need for Speed players to determine who would face the ultimate challenge. The selected gamers competed against each other in the Need for Speed SHIFT, which includes the new 2010 Ford Mustang.

Peugeot is exhibiting the new HYbrid3 Evolution Concept at the 67th Milan International Cycle and Motorbike Show.

The three-wheel drive HYbrid3 Evolution is a roofless version of the HYbrid3 compressor that was presented at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and it is equipped with a 41HP 0.3-liter petrol engine driving the rear wheel, and two 3kW electric motors, one in each front wheel, delivering a combined output of 8HP. In electric mode, the Peugeot HYbrid3 Evolution is able to run for 10 km on a full charge of the lithium-ion batteries.

Some exterior features include LED lights, front mud guards and rear lights with a hi-tech finish.
