Did Audi stop making the RS6 this year??
Or did they just stop it for this year because they redisgned the A6?

Audi says that they're no longer going to focus on winning the horsepower war because they feel it compromises the vehicles...there will still be RS cars, they just won't NECESSARILY have more horsepower than their rivals when they're introduced. Audi's trying to break the cycle of power one-upmanship.
As for the RS6, it's dead because the old A6 is dead...there will most likely be a new RS6 within a few years.

Think about this..the RS6 had 450 HP. That's LESS than the Mercedes E55 AMG and the new V10 M5, but it's still a helluva lot.

And the the new RS4 will have 420 HP. So that'll probably mean the new RS6 will have 520+ HP...
The RS6+ Limited Edition run was the last ever production run of the previous generation RS6, I think that was the final 999 cars or something. That was in preperation for the release of the new A6, now news on a new RS6 yet but there's some ideas swimming around on the net, a new bi-turbo V8 or perhaps even the Audi-owned Lamborghini sourced 5.0 V10 from the Gallardo, with 4WD of course.

The V8 isnt powerfull enought, the old one used a V8. But the Gallardo V10.. sounds realistic and very nice to me.

how could the V8 not be powerful enough? Its RS6 Plus output was more than the Gallardo's V10 (500 HP versus 493 with waaaay more torque)
Of course its powerfull enough generally speaken, but not for a new gen-RS6. I just think they wants something different then their old one and the new RS4, so a V10 sounds realistic to me. Maybe turbocharged...
It better have more power than E55 AMG.
