Those renders posted above are shit compared to some of the stuff that computers can do. The only reasons I even touch a console are for games that are only for the console (i.e. GT3/4) and when I want to play with friends who are in the room with me.

SOOO true. If you have a good vid card TV-out it on a tv and it looks about 10 times better than any game on console. And you get AA!

I bet PS3 goes for atleast ~1200$ when it first comes out. Weren't PS2's hard to get when new and like some retarded amount of money over the retail they were suppose to be? For some reason I remember stuff like "800 $ PS2" ads and junk. maybe not. i dunno.

Computer games... not interested anymore. The games they have for comps I don't like, so it's not any difference to me. Probably wont even buy crap all for a vid card next pc. Layin on a couch > sitting on a chair.

PS3 comes out in 2006. The PS2's were $200 when they first came out, it was the fuckers on ebay selling them for $800. I doubt the PS3 will cost over $200 when it comes out, people just dont pay that kinda money for systems anymore. It was the PS1 and Dreamcast that were around $500 when they first game out.

As far as playing games on a console or a computer, doesn't really matter to me. Certain games are better for the console as is the same with the computer. Pretty much any FPS game is better on the computer, you just cant beat the Keyboard and Mouse combo. Adventure games and such are better on consoles.
