so, what do you think of the new Album? I, for one, can't bring myself to take it out of my stereo system yet- i love it. Do you think it's too different for U2, or do you think it works well and it's a good album?
thoughts?

I haven't heard it, but I don't expect much. I really like U2's efforts in the '80s...but their newer stuff doesn't really tickle my fancy at all.

It's not so much a bad album, as it is a bad U2 album. I would say that for them, it is mediocre. I got some free iTunes downloads, so I grabbed that album. It's not a total waste, since it's better than a lot of the current stuff, but I expected so much more from U2. I loved "All That You Can't Leave Behind," so I expected them to do 1 better than that. I guess this is what you get when you bow to the wishes of the industry. cough...Apple...cough

I think How to dismantle an atomic bomb is awesome! Better than U2's last album. It was OK but not great.
