After being teased with spy pics of a B6-based RS4 that never came to fruition, it's looking like the B7 RS4 is in the bag. This is the second tester that's been spied on the Nurburgring, after all; a pattern is developing. Two testers undoubtedly mean there are more, and that the car is heading to production.

Mmmmm tasty, nice car. My friends mum is getting the new A4 to replace her old one. Perhaps I can persuade her into getting one of these.... DS_Naughty2.gif Btw nice singing back there Clark! wink.gif

Wow. They taped off part of the rear lights, and now the back of the car looks SO much nicer.

Yeah, but it would never make it to production...looks too much like the A6.

Nope; when the B6 RS4 was spied, people suspecting that it would use a twin-turbo version of the 3.0 V6, as a turbo version of the V8 won't fit in the engine bay. This article says it'll be a highly tuned version of the N/A 4.2, which I find less likely than the turbo V6 idea, as it would be difficult to break the 400 HP barrier with that 4.2...which is definitely the number Audi has to produce with this car.

But, no, there's no definitive news on the engine.

4.2 litre V8 with 425 HP. N/A drool

The final production model will be ready for the Geneva Motorshow in March 2005.

That is really nice. I'm liking the new back. The front looks weird for some reason, but it still looks good. Should be fast, completely awesome.

Let's hope it is a real threat for the future M3 and its 400bhp M5 based V8 smile.gif

No, they're B7 tailights with the inboard portion taped over. B6 tailights are larger than these taped over B7 lights.

The front, and other parts of the car, appear different from the new, standard a4 because in the chops, they taped over some things. Tape over the bottom of the headlights, tape over the single-piece grille to make it look like 2 pieces, and tape over part of the taillights. Wow. Amazing what a little tape can do.

The front of the Audi is so fucking aggresive. I love it. I wanna blow my load all over it.
