Well y'all I am the proud new owner of a 1989 Mazda B2200 Se-5. It was my Grandpas project truck, and he passed away in October. None of the kids wanted the hassle of the truck, and it was destined to the JY if I didn't speak up.
So now I have Two 89B's. 89 Beretta, 89 B2200.
Yes the pics suck, Yes I am gonna take better ones tomorrow.
The engine is in the back of it. Its a 2.2 I4 5spd.
Besides the obvious it needs washed, waxed. I'd like to hear any and all comments.

how funny; when my grandfather died, he also left behind a B2200 pickup truck that nobody wanted...except his ran. My uncle ended up getting it and it was stolen from in front of his house a couple weeks later

The truck is really growing on me already. I hope to have the engine in the bay by Christmas. And hope to have it running and on the road by July or so. Its all dependant on how soon I get hired.
I am already thinking about what kind of system to put in it. But it will need a small lift (Redneck in me). But I think it will be a great little truck.
Edit: For Mrboost. I thought I would go for the Italian engineered truck for a little bit.

Just don't lift it too much, 2.2l engines aren't that great at spinning a set of 35" tires

I'm flat broke, and a serious procrastinator. i'm giving myself plenty of time . I actually hope to have it on the road sooner, But I have to find a job to support it.
