err no.. its called brainstorming.. a graphic designer does that first.. and its shown that brainstorming in groups and numbers creates more ideas and helps think deeper and more creative..

Well Japanese paper would be the obvious answer. They do make some really incredible paper. Hopefully you have a shop close to you that carries a good stock. Otherwise I might suggest a really high gloss card stock for a modern, plastic, clean feel.
Postcard to me just means a small rectangular piece of paper. How complex of a piece are you making?
