I thought it was a reasonably good list...not perfect...but it had a good balance of cars, and wasn't just a competition of "can you find the weirdest car ever?" like so many other cool lists.

Glad to see the 911 so high (it deserved it) but I really don't think the Corvette Sting Ray deserved number 1...I mean, yeah, top 20 sure, but #1?

Nissan Skyline GT-R- no. 47 , Toyota Supra - nowhere to be seen . I think that clears things once and for all . As for the entire list , yeah , they've pretty much covered everything worth considering.

Corvette Sting Ray shouldn;t be number one IMO.

M3 deserves better. I think these "100 best cars" stuff is a load of shit. It's biased and isn't going to apply to everyone. I also DID NOT like that Spike Tv's 52 Favorite cars crap. Very biased and they spent no time on the nominees or winners. But i'd say in total the poll did it's job ok.

I've seen lists that are a lot worse. This is pretty good IMO. But I agree, 911 should be number one

I guess the list doesn't really suprise me. I would make some changes based on my personal preference, but that's all this list really is. Of course, I would assume the writer(s) have a little more background knowledge on these cars than I do.

How in the hell can they have a handful of citroens in, and leave out cars such as > Jensen Interceptor, TVR Cerbera, Lotus Carlton etc pfff. They're on some mind altering sh!t

The newest automobile there ever was, theres a huge corvette 427 on the cover and it says 100 COOLEST CARS on the cover

Fast doesn't necissarily make a car cool (although it helps). I'm sure this list was quite biased, but I'm also sure that they used quite a valid ranking or whatever system to compile this.

I have complete respect for this list and Automobile Magazine.

I saw one in CAR magazine I think it was? They had the 911 as number one in that, and I definitely agree that it should be number one. I might have that automobile magazine actually, but I can't find it now. Although maybe I have last months, if I don't have it I'll have to buy it, because my subscription ran out

Great scans PBB, and many thanks for the Porsche Ownage avatar as well! The list is very good, but everyone will always disagree with parts of it. Think of it more as the 100 coolest cars as voted by the person who wrote it.
