Well I gotta say that RB series of engines makes sounds as sweet as any Porsche flat-six. It was an 89 GTS-t Type-M with an RB20DET. They are definatley bigger than I thought they were (there's a couple around already but I've never made an effort to get up close). Can't wait for the GT-R's to become legal . In Canada imported cars have to be 15 years old to be legal. The first GT-R's are legal as of today. There are some in town already but they are illegal.

I am starting to feel like the last guy with a FWD N/A car. I stopped by a friends place for a BBQ friday night and the cars out front were as follows;

89 Silvia K's
89 Sil-eighty (180SX with Silvia front end)
89 15-eighty (180SX with S15 Silvia front end)
91 MR2 Turbo (imported, RHD)
93 240SX (with SR20DET swap)
95 240SX (with SR20DET swap)

.... and a Spec V. 5 RHD cars and two with engine transplants. I need a second car.

Not grey market in Canada. Here, if it's 15 years old, it's a perfectly legal car. The guys who bring in newer cars have grey-market stuff on their hands.

Oh, well, I thought you inferred that this particular car was imported before it was legal, and would therefore be a grey-market car.

I mean legal as in if it passes inspection, it is perfectly legal to register and insure in Canada. Also that it is 15 years old (thats the law in Canada).

Just for clarification, if a car is 15 years old (to the month it was built) you can import it to Canada legally.

No the GT-R's weren't built until August 89, so the first ones (GT-R) are legal as of today. GTS-t's have been legal for a while.

There are a couple of grey-market GTR's around though.

There was a skyline imported in my city, a month ago. It's blood red with black wheels. There was a Sylvia in my city also, which a certain someobody bought.

If it was mine, I would have pictures because the camera is at home. You see I never take my Camera arround with me because Its big, and its exspensive, and its also not mine. And we'll see if my girlfriends or not some time. I think pictures will take a while to get. But yeah, its the same one I was talking about like... 4 months ago about seeing a Sylvia with Gold Wheels, and everyone was telling me it was fake. It's fast, and RHD is better in my opinion. Also loses traction in 3rd gear! Cool.
