Damn I'd love to get my hands on an AE86.
They have the same engine my MR2 has. Much

for Toyota

Oh yea, about the Corsica vid. People thought that was me at once

But it's not.
I tried that in mine but it didn't work. It was a problem with early model Corsica's not having enough weight in the rear or something

Indeed it is.
And I really like that Toyota MR-S. It looks so cool from the front as it's racing along

I like they way they set it up. They made the drifter look like an wannabe with him losing bad in the ITR and then brings it home in the MR-S. hp != faster car.

A touge seems to be a race course designed to resemble a public road, and it's on a hill, and it's run once in the downhill direction and once in the uphill direction. And if the person in the back gets closer to the guy in front by the end of the race he wins and if the guy in front gets farther from the guy in the back then he wins.
All in all, I think it's pretty cool.

Hey, awesome BMI video. That wasn't done on a racecourse made to look like a public mountain road, that WAS a public mountain road, they just blocked it off with permission for the BMI video. Touge(pronounced toe-gay) is japanese for "top of hill".
But whenever you hear "touge battle" just think mountain battle. It can be done either uphill or downhill. Downhill gives cars with less power more of an advantage than if it were uphill because gravity isn't acting upon the car making it work harder requiring more HP than if it were downhill. Touge battles are a test of ones reflexes really.
You can't really tell what corner is coming up next so you have to have good reflexes. But before any of you go out and try this on your own, remember that you CAN fall off the cliffside, I have seen it and it is very scary, some live through falling off a cliff, but most don't. So if you do do this, just remember that your life is probably more at risk if you are an amatuer than anywhere else in motorsports.
there really is no set rules to the touge, it is just whatever the two drivers decide on. most of the time it is just a race between friends and no grudges are really held. also, if you are going to do this, get a friend to scout through the area first to see if the area is clear and stand at the end of it to make sure no other cars enter where you are racing, use walkie talkies in case an innocent bystander turns on the road so you your friend can radio back to you to tell you to stop racing because of traffic, and also to avoid traffic race from 1pm to about 6pm because not alot of people are driving at that time.
if there is anything else you need help with, you can send me a PM here or drop me a live at "DriftSaru" on AIM.
peace.
