I searched on the internet, and couldn't find any pictures or do it yourselfs. Does anyone have any ideas, cheap do it yourselfs, or pictures of a ramp for lowered cars. I really dont like the oil shops changing my oil.

It can't clear a pop can on its side. The ramps at home are close to 45 degree.

lay a 2x4 or 2x6 down in front on the ramps and drive up on the board and then onto the ramps.

sounds like the same problem I have....my car has 1 1/2 clearance from the lowest part(oil pan) to the ground. tard.gif anyway, get four 2X4's, nail 2 each together, (one on top another) and trim them in an angle, 30-40 degree should work, they are lite and versatile. I have to atleast carry one in the car if case I get a flat for the factory car jack to be able to slide under the car.

So, I should be able to do my own oil change when I do this?

yup. i use them to get the car high enough so i can slide a car jack under it and lift it as needed.

lol, i just push on my fender enough to slide the jack under the control arms without hitting the lower door sill.

on my truck, i can just crawl under there and i have EASY access to the drain plug. No jack or anything. Trucks are cool. smile.gif

OR, you can just buy yourself one of these lifts...

Why not just buy a cheap jack and four jackstands? My car at stock ride height can't get up on any ramps, because the bumper is too far in front of the front wheels.

At least with my car you'd need to remove the side skirts to get a jack (that will actually lift the car) under there... So I lift it a little, maybe 2-3 inches with a small jack and then put a decent hydraulic jack under it. But it's not very convenient...

I built these ramps for my car, and love 'em. Cant go wrong with building a set of those. I did add two boards to make them a bit taller.
