I've got 4 real ones. 1 is an absolute piece of crap, though. I bought it at an estate sale for $6. Why? It came with beautiful case for my Alvarez. The case sells used for about $80 anywhere else.

It could work. The hardware looks real. The problem is, you would have to use inner supports on the neck and body to keep the guitar rigid enough to hold the stings. Any give, and the guitar will be going out of tune immediately.
Yeah. Don't strings make something like 20 pounds when it comes to how hard they pull when they're on the gituar? I'm most likely wrong...
