I went down to Lou Goldberg jewellers yesterday to shop for a new watch. Their i saw the nicest watch my eyes have ever layed eyes on. The new TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection. After disputing wether to shop around or buy it i chose option one, buy it. It was quite expensive but well worth it. I bought mine in red but light blue and black were optional.
This is a picture of the watch i just purchased.

This is a picture of the other colours available. If i get enough complaints about the colour i chose, i'll go return it and pick a different colour.

Nice watch, but, personally, I'm all about the $45 timex over here

...partially because I hate non-leather bands (Ouch! I wanted that arm hair!)

I just bought a new watch also!

I decided on a Movado, it has a grey back on it with a 1/2 carat dimond on where 12 o'clock is. It's real nice.

Is it by any chance one of these?

Not really my cup of tea, but then again I don't see the point of spending crazy amounds of money on watches although some of them look very good.
This one is more to my liking

This is mine. Most of the style of the Movado, 1/20th the price, and it looks great with my suits for work / weddings.

My friend has one of those fossil watches...I like that fat leather band (seems like it'd be more comfortable) but it would make my horrendous watch tan about ten times worse

Nah, my watch owns all of yours.
The second hand has fallen off twice inside the glass, and then got lodged between the two other hands at one point, thus defeating any attempts to get the proper time. So now its just sitting around waiting for repair...

i've got myself a few victorinox swiss army watches. My favorite is teh one on my wrist now, actually branded "swiss air force"- it's a 9G450 chronograph/tachymeter... but it's not too huge.
the watch originally retailed for ~$600. I stole it off of ebay for $85 with a little use on it, but it's a gorgeous watch.
Boy congrats to the owner of that new Tag.
if i ever dump a load of cash on a watch, it's going to be a Breitling. Probably a Montbrilliant chrono/tachy.

I used to wear watches, but I go through them like cheap candy. I just end up cracking the face of them, or tearing the band off. I've had them repaired and repaired. I don't need to know the time that badly

I never wear watches, they're annoying, so I took my old piece of crap timex digital thing with a crappy band and cut it, hung it by a chain, and wear it on my belt loop.
