no.. they aren't really made for SUVs, and plus i don't think i could ever afford it. but if i COULD, they would definitely go on my Porsche/BMW/Ferrari/etc.

Any pictures of them on a car?

Look like BBSes to me.
clarkma5
They are beautiful, but they're also heavy. I'd take a slightly less sexy set of BBS RGRs over these any day, especially considering the BBSs cost about a third as much.
Mr b00st
i like laced spoke wheels and i have to admit those are pretty good... but 4-5 a set? No thanks.
fallon
they certainly look pretty
dukenukem
do they make these in black finish ???? cuz i saw something very very similar on a evo yesterday.......and the evo looked really really awesome with all black finish and lowered ride.
clarkma5
HRE will do almost any finish under the sun...for that kinda money, they're certainly open to custom stuff, and they have a variety of standard finishes available (silver painted, polished, and anthracite painted, I believe.)
5LiterMustang
they're nice ya, but nothing special

See the Audi in this thread for the 540's in motion. wink.gif

very nice! there is a local auto show here (san diego) every thursday, all summer long, and last week a guy brought his lambo diablo with hre's. it was beautiful!

Honestly they would never go near my car unless they were for show only and never used on the street. Why would you ever buy from a company that has no racing experience and makes soft/heavy wheels that are really expensive? I have heard of these wheels actually rusting out from the inside, along with bending with mere mention of a pothole.

Go with Fikse or BBS or someone that makes good looking wheels that are actually worth putting on your vehicle if you are going to spend that kind of coin.

They'd look awesome on a Viper... rolleyes.gif

i would have to argue with you on HRE's quality. just because you "heard" of 1 or 2 failing, doesn't mean it sucks. even BBS and Fikse have wheels that fail. HRE quality is second to none. they are just smaller and more customized then the big boys like BBS.. but their quality is still top notch.

i wouldn't call HRE's as soft nor heavy by any means. in fact, they are used by Lingenfelter and Mallet in their Corvette racing programs.

well today i heard that a miata was front wheel drive, but that doesnt mean its true.
RedLine
I dislike them. They're big and heavy. Plus, I dislike entire wheels chrome or polished. BBS are better! smile.gif
Diesel
argh! where the hell did you guys hear HRE's were HEAVY? compared to what? ok, they aren't 14" lightweight racing wheels.. but they certainly aren't HEAVY.
dennis
Yeah, that's true.
On the Viper some of the 19" HRE's are even lighter than the original 18" rims. So getting awesome looking rims for the street, HRE's or Fikse's, or Purner's are first choice.
Still, going racing, nothing's better than BBS.
