My friends '77 Volvo 242 DL's engine bay is extremley clean for how old, and unrestored it is. He never ever cleaned it too.

didn't chip foose build that 56 bel air for Chris Titus. They did a documentary thing called "rides" on TLC that showed a lot of it. Foose is amazing

I saw that show last night on TLC and yes Foose did build the car for Titus. Although I think the the engine bay on the "Grand Master" was an order of magnitude cleaner.

ya, the guy commenting on the "grand master" said people thought there was no way the engine ran because there are absolutely no visible wires, bolts or connections.
