And I don't like them because they seem like mediocre cars that ricers worship because a miniscule handful of people have gotten huge amounts of power out of them...and that's my perception of them.

I don't see them as mediocre in stock form

My understanding of them in stock form is that they need a vast array of electronic aids to make them good driver's cars that a well-designed car wouldn't need.

(Note: the new R35 does not fall under this perception of mine)

Well, I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of jackasses out there that LOVE VWs... Does someone else's interested alter your perception of cars?

I love skylines because they are extremely tunable and have the most advanced AWD in the world AND they have an incredible track reputation AND they're not available in the US readily so they're excusive.

Even in stock form , the grossly underated @ 280 hp (*cough*) Skyline GT-R has incredible performance.

I've just always felt that way about Skylines... :shrug:
