Just for no reason other than boredom I decided to make a new thread. Now Unamerican is a bit harsh. I'm talking about protest albums that don't exactly coincide with certain American policies. I'll start a few.

Matthew Good - Avalanche: thumbs_up.gif
Excellent album and is one of the most hardlined against america in general. The album itself musicially is one of the most amazing I have heard and I absolutely love Matthew Good's voice.

Radiohead - Hail To the Theif
Musically awesome again it seems to combine Radiohead's electronic experimentation with their hard hitting OK Computer for a unique sounds that I love. Songs like 2+2=5, Sail to the Moon and even Sit Down, Stand Up all seem to have direct opposition to america.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmo's Factory
Any album with Run Through the Jungle on it has to be on a list such as this.

Alright you get the idea I hope by now. Lets see if you all can add anything else. It can be specific songs too if you like.

Although I could never consider it particularly political, I've always felt that Jay Farrar's "Terroir Blues" holds some anti-bush sentiments in it, although maybe I'm projecting.

Hail To The Thief, however, is pretty obviously anti-Bush, and it's a great album (even better live, too!)
White RSX
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Yanqui U.X.O.

does that count?

"The Gloaming" became my favorite when I saw it live...as for the actual album tracks, I think Go To Sleep is my favorite.
