Aprilia Sportcity ScooterThere are two versions available - the "125" (with a 125 cc motor) and the "200" (with a 200 cc motor). Both models feature a single cylinder four valve, four stroke motor and are liquid cooled.
Engine power output ranges from 11 kW (15 hp) to 15.5 kW (21 hp).

I've seriously considered something like that for running errands in town. There are a lot of people in my city who use a scooter of some sort, but not many are that nice. Thats incredibel for a single cylinder engine!
A guy down the street from me just got a Honda Reflex. Very nice scooter, that acts more like a motorcycle. Its only 1cc less than the Honda Rebel!

If I had to ride a scooter... that would be the one I would choose...
However... I would just rather take a Motorcycle...

aprilia makes really cool, small cc sport bikes.. i'm not the scooter kind of guy though

15 grand for a motorcycle with a solid carbon fibre fairing and magnesium wheels. 120hp out of 998ccs. Its a 60 degree V-twin originally faintly based off of a suzuki lump.... DAMNIT I WANT A BIKE.

a "cool scooter" .. i dont think so. THey're fun, but you just can't look cool on one, lol.
If I wanted something small and good on gas, I'd get a Honda Trail 70, from the 70's. Alright top speeds, and it'd be cool to restore one. PLus big aftermaket on the 70 engines atleast. A lot funner than a scooter.

friend of mine recently got a honda vtr1000 "superhawk" it gets 35ish mpg
