Now that you have had some time to consider which cars you would like in your collection after picking up your first car (See http://forums.dieselstation.com/index.php?...t=0&#entry51262) which 6 cars would you put in your garage?

Even if I had millions of dollars, my car collection would be realistic. I would limit myself to owning only one older super-exotic / rare car. This way I would only drive that car on special occasions. Half of my cars would be new and I would use the Jag and the Benz as my daily drivers.

I'd love to get my hands on some of the amazing Group-b rally cars:

Metro 6R4:

Lancia Stratos:

Yes, I know they're ugly. I like my cars that way sometimes.

I can't leave out the Skyline, the looks, the technology. This would be my everyday car. Without the blingy stickers of course. It would have to be modified somewhat, being a Skyline and all, but tastefully, and mildly... It's for everyday.
Nissan Skyline R34:

Humvee. None of this homo H-bullshit. This would be for when the weather is inclement, or I feel like playing in the dirt. Glossy paint + dirt != good. Everything a truck should be, modern, and useful.
Humvee:

Mclaren F1. I know it's very cliché, but I don't care. This car does it for me, and I love the concept.
Mclaren:

I have recently been introduced to TVR. I really like many many things about these cars. They have looks that combine the best of classic, and modern; raw power, and finesse. They have the real power to back it up to boot. The cars seem timeless, the company seems like the kind of company I would want to be a part of.
TVR Speed 12:

Those would probably be my choices. I don't know of many different sorts of cars, I'm fairly new to learning about them all, but of the ones I know, I like all of these a lot.

About 100 different things occured to me while reading this one:

"Variety is the spice of life"

"WTF?"

"Boy, that's a whole lotta Ford"

"Do you really like Cobras that much... Have you driven anything else?"

"Why..."

"You are the most boring person I've ever met"

"Most people, upon seeing this would think 'why does he have six of the same car?'"

and so on. You would honestly pick 6 Cobras? Ooooh kay.

he just happens to love cobras. whats wrong with that??

Nothing _wrong_ with that... But with many millions, he'd just buy six Cobras? I mean... comeon. They are pretty cool cars, but they're not wonderful.

maybe i was going for a more realistic approach. I mean, all those cars could probably be had for under $50k (each).. but what the hell, i like cobra's! to me, the countless dreams of McLaren F1's and Skylines are just as boring...

Just went to the snap on show around here and toolboxes are the most expensive.
A small one starts at $2k, a large at $8K and the giant racing one with all the bells and wistles, a whopping $23k -sold within 2 hours
