both were done in my front drive way, so I just opted to remove the backgrounds, still got somethings to figure out about this style of shooting, but I like the direction it's headed

1.

2.

Comments or tips or any feedback for that matter welcomed!

Lighting seems clean, I'm no expert, but seems to be on the right lines, really nice and even on 2.

When you cut something in Photoshop have a play with the 'refine edge' feature under the select menu, you can use it to take away the unrealistic harshness you get when you have made a selection. It would help your backgrounds feel a bit more like part of the picture, they feel 'cut'. I know it was just a test and more about the light but worth a go maybe?

Wow, number 2 is done very nicely! I think with some more practise you'll be nailing this.
